Trails in the Area
Elberta Dunes South Trail: Trailhead is easily accessible from the campground and take you to a lookout at the top of the dunes over Lake MI.
Arcadia Dunes Baldy Trailhead:. This trail is a bike longer depending on the route you take with a stunning view.
Arcadia Marsh Preserve: Boardwalk through the marsh of Arcadia. Always lots of birds to see and accessible for everyone!
*If you’d like more trail suggestions don’t be afraid to ask us or other locals! If you have a smart phone and zoom in to the general area with apple or google maps, just type TRAILS and plenty will pop up to discover!
Unique Experiences
Cherry Bowl Drive-in: Located in Honor, this drive-in theater is always quite the experience. I recommend bringing lots of blankets and snacks!
Floating Platte River: If you have your own tubes or kayaks, floating down the Platte is always fun. On tubes I would recommend going after Loon Lake so you don’t have to paddle across it. If you don’t have your own supplies go to Riverside Canoes where they will set you up with kayaks or tubes.
